This print threads on to a plastic water bottle and can hydrate your indoor / outdoor potted plants. It worked well for me with an indoor potted plant shown in the picture. The hole is small only 2mm but still the water flow rate needs to be controlled. inside the cap please firmly press down 2 cotton balls so that water flow rate is not more that what the plant demands.
After filling the water bottle invert and press gently to get the cotton balls soaked and water coming out at the end. Press it into the soil and don't worry about the hole getting covered. Actually we want the water to just get to the hole and the soil pulling the water by osmosis. We don't want free flowing water with gravity as the soil will get drenched. Cotton ball helps with preventing free flow when inverted.
After I have used this for a plant, the soil is moist and not drenched which I think is the right water level for the plants.
