Tilting Scissors Replacement

This 3D model provides a replacement for the tilting scissors mechanism in basement windows. It's ideal for when the original part breaks after prolonged use or due to water pressure in the window well.

Typically, only the connecting piece (a pin that fits into the window frame) breaks. This design allows you to replace the broken pin with a screw, making repairs easier and more durable. So if it breaks again you only have to reprint the pin, not the whole thing.
