ELNA Elnita 250 Replacement Gear

! IMPORTED FROM THINGIVERSE, UPDATE ±SOON ! 20211217

Sewing machine by ELNA, model Elnita 250.
The gear is place inside the metal case, next to the big nob that allow the user to change the type of stitches. Pictured showed are the original part, crazy glue together and the green part is my first try (space between teeth not even). Final part is my second try, still have some play in it, but better than nothing.

PICTURE/INSTRUCTION TBA
I would highly recommend to modify (I used Tinkercad) the STL so that the wall for the metal connection with the knob/shaft won't bend like my second test did (already install in the machine). It is made almost like the original, meaning that you have to insert the metal knob (align the hole to be able to secure it in place with the shaft) like an heat set insert. I just used an old soldering gun for this. Take time to heat it up since it's a big peace of metal, but I can finally use it again.

Have a nice morning!

Normal printing. Support on the bottom because of the tiny lip is hard to get off (20% infill support in triangle). You could always lower it until the lip is no longer in the printing area.
