Mount a Schiit Fulla 4/E DAC/AMP by screwing it into a surface. I mount mine to my digital piano connected to a RPi M400 running Pianoteq mounted behind the piano. Allowed me to upgrade the sound on my old Casio PX 200 digital piano. I think the Fulla E sounds pretty good with my AKG K371 headphones for practicing piano. I hacked my PX200 to have a line-in (opened it up and soldered some wires accross the volume pot) which is connected to the Fulla's line-out, useful when I want to play for someone else. Sounds better than you'd expect :)
Print two copies of the model – the round cutout makes space for the volume pot at the front and for the ventilation holes at the back. If you prefer the back bracket to be straight through just mesh the geometry in the tree before the last Pocket operation.
The height is quite tight – this compresses the rubber feet slightly when screwed in, so the feet help gripping the Fulla for when you plug/unplug headphones. The FreeCAD model is parametric with a spreadsheet, increase the h_b
variable if you want to increase the clearance.
My prints are a bit stringy due to using very wet filament. Since I've mounted my Fulla more or less out of sight it seemed like a good way to use up the wet filament :)
