Can't stop making this. This is my favorite phaser in all of Trek. Such a lovely homage to the TOS original while being a great update, just like the Enterprise. And a great model; not too difficult to get great results.

I printed this, all one colour just to try it out before I did any future prints and it has taken a beating. my youngest has ran around with dropping it and it keeps going. Very solid construction.
Now I've settled into my new printer I attempted another Phaser.
Same as before but a little more TLC and used 3DHOJOR Matte Blue Gray PLA.
Have left the dial off as I'm experimenting with some translucent PETG in Red & Blue to have the Stun Kill setting become interchangeable with magnets.
An amazing print! Printed great. Had some issues but down to new K1 Max. Looks so cool too!
Printed using PLA: Eryone Matte Navy Blue, Elegoo Black, Ziro Silk Silver, Unknown Clear PLA and Eryone Ultra Silk Bronze
Due to issues my my filament and settings it's more "stand off scale", but it is great model!
OK, I got carried away. I purchased 3 colors of blue. I like them all, but the blue-grey seems to be closest to screen used color. A really nice kit that assembles almost by itself. The larger magnets are an improvement. I printed them all with removable power packs.
@MxJns4_2531044 3DHorJo Matte Grey. Looking at it, it looks grey. Printed, it's grey blue and I think looks really close to the screen color. Having said that, I like the really dark blue body color as well, maybe even a little better.
@harlequin132_1663186 thank you! I've got a matte navy by Eryone that's fairly muted which should look good too
@UnimatrixRed HEy for the part 2 of the phaser, how did you print it
@IsabellaCVan_1946378 For the P2, it's best printed standing up with the flat emitter end on the print bed. Supports are required. I used tree supports (organic) which worked well. Just print a little slower to avoid knocking it over.
Such a great design; it prints and assembles like a charm, and looks fantastic. Thanks a lot for your work! (edited)
