A friend's daughter loves the Ara the Star Engineer children's book, and really wanted an Android barrette just like Ara's. They couldn't find one for purchase anywhere, so I quickly modeled and printed this charm. They used a bit of E6000 glue to attach it to a gold barrette clip from a craft store, and the result is one very happy little girl.
It's a very easy print. I recommend a shiny silk filament in lime/bright green for the body, and white for the eyes (glow-in-the dark is even more fun). The body and eyes are separate prints that snap together, but you can add a little glue if you want to ensure they don't come apart.
I suggest the highest detail your printer supports. The charms in the picture are at .12mm layer height on an Ender-3, but I did another round on my MK3S at .05mm (stock ULTRADETAIL settings; sorry, no pics 🙁) and they looked even better 😁. They're very small and print quickly, so you don't really notice the extra time needed for maxing out the detail.
