Missing a proper stand for your Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex that you know and love from other Jabra headsets?

This one comes close to that but utilizes a common Qi-Charging pad. The headset “slides” into position and ist perfectly aligned.

How to print

Make sure to have supports enabled. I've had success with infill of 15% and PLA (DasFilament PLA Blue Pearl).

Option 1: You've got an Anker Wireless charger (eg. Anker Powerport Wireless 5 or Anker 313)

You can print the file “Evolve2 65 Flex Stand for Anker 313.stl”. This model comes with a small hole for the Status LED. Don't want the status LED to be visible? Use option 2.

Option 2: Qi-Charging pad with height of 10mm and diameter of 100mm

Simply print the file “Evolve2 65 Flex Stand for generic chargers of 10mm height.stl”.

Option 3: Qi-Charging pad with arbitrary height and diameter of 100mm

Use the model file “Evolve2 65 Flex Stand for custom height chargers.stl” that supports charging pads up to 20mm height. Remove the required amount with your slicer (Z-offset).

Tip: Aim for a resulting height that is 0,5 mm smaller than the height of your charging pad. This ensures that the adapter will not render the anti-slip of your charging pad useless.

Example: Your Qi-Charger has a height of 8mm, then add the file to your slicer and then specify the height of 7.5 mm in the Z position. This model has been designed in such a way that you can directly specify your desired height in the position.

Option 4: Qi-Charging pad with a different diameter

If your charging pad has a different diameter than 100 mm you can use the supplied STEP files to change the model to your needs. Feel free to contact me and I will upload files for other diameters, too. Or maybe I just provide you with the CAD file itself.

FAQs

Why are there “dents” in the inner element?

These dents are designed to prevent the buttons from being pressed on their own.

Why a Wireless charging based stand instead of USB-C?

If you're asking yourself why I've not designes a similar stand to other Jabra Headsets with a USB-C cable built in: Unfortunetily, this is not so easy. Firstly you'd need a special USB-C cable with no barbs to have it slide in as other stands have. Secondly, there is nothing that can be used to “guide” the headset into position. It would want to Just fall over.
