Printing instructions komboloi beads:
Designed for 0.2 lay.er height.
PLA is fine, PETG is optional
No supports needed. All chamfers are 45 degrees.
If available in your slicer set the seam to random and select scarf joint for the cleanest look and no sanding.
Solid rectilinear infill.
5 top and bottom layers.
Print 1 bead first to check the size. Depending on your printer (settings), filament and paracord you might need to scale up or down the stopper bead. Inserting the double cord through the stopper is a hassle (melt the two ends together and make it very pointy). The tighter this is the better, that way your bracelet will be secure.
For a 12mm bead size you need 21 beads, 1 stopper and two small beads at the ends (based on a 7 inch wrist). Always make sure to use an uneven number of beads to make gameplay smooth.
If you want a rounder look some light sanding will knock off the edges.
Play around with the string length for the best gameplay.
