Gridfinity parametric magnet holder

Created a parametric Fusion360 file for the gridfinity magnet holders from the designs that I found to work well for me.

RECOMMENDED: If you have, for example, a 7mm magnet, then set the magnet_diameter parameter to 7mm and the magnet_diameter_tolerance to 0.15-0.2mm. This additional tolerance seem to work really well to make the magnets slide in and out of the holder easily but not too loose.

  • Changed all files to fit standard empty bins (link to parametric bins). Original was 37x37mm and couldn't fit because of the “gridfinity stacking lip” being around 36.3mm.
  • New files have been renamed to have “v2” at the end.

  • The Fusion360 file parameter bin_width_length has been correctly set to 36.2mm.
  • Parameter magnet_diameter doesn't need an increase in diameter size for tolerance. Just set it to the exact diameter of the magnet.
  • Added an additional parameter magnet_diameter_tolerance. This will additionally increase the diameter for the magnet. Default - 0.2mm.
  • All models have been updated to “v3” with increased default tolerance.
