While listening to the History of English podcast, I learned a little bit about paper making and block printing. Having made some of my own paper (see my mold and deckle project, also posted here on Printables), I wanted to try 3D printing something akin to a linoleum or woodblock printing block and give it a shot.
If you want detailed instructions on the ink block printing process, there are many tutorials online that will work with these blocks. Basically, you just need printing ink and a roller or spoon, and you’re good to go!
I pulled the yin-yang design from Wikipedia, and the orca design was drawn up by my sister. The blocks are sized to work with the 10cm x 10cm recycled paper I made using my 3D printed mold and deckle. Enjoy!
Picture also features @PeteProdoehl‘s print baren, which I found handy!
