It works great. I really like the fact that it is built from common hardware and can be packed to a small size. However, I don't understand the purpose of front square holes. They look like they're intended for nuts but are too small. On the other hand, front bolts hold tightly even without nuts.
I've combined it with https://www.printables.com/model/251614-strong-arca-swiss-clamp so it is now Arca Swiss plate compatible. (edited)
Love this creation Chris! Well thought out, low centre of gravity and JUST fits an 85mm OD lens. The 1/4 screw from the peak design micro clutch fits nicely but would be quicker to mount/unmount with a keyhole for the screw. Would love to see the base with 45degree chamfers up to the rounded fillet to help with the overhang and print without supports.
Is there a way to put some clips underneath or rotate the front legs for flat storage without losing the M10 legs in my bag? Thanks for publishing this!
