Portable AC window slider fan adapter

We were disappointed that our portable AC had a "fan" option, but that it only recirculated air in the room, not blew in fresh air from outside.

So I made an adapter that fit the hole in the window slider (normally occupied by the exhaust hose), and has a speed-controllable fan to blow air into the room.

I included the scad file so you can edit if you like (such as replacing the single fan with two smaller ones, etc). Let me know if you have any questions.

Recommend to print in something sturdy, like PETG, ABS, ASA, etc. (mostly because it's likely to be in direct sunlight, and the clips need to flex to insert without breaking. You will need to print 2x “AC fan plug” and 4x “AC fan clip”. The 2 plugs fit together, I recommend gluing. The 4 clips slide into the plugs (choose the orientation you prefer: flat side facing in or out), I recommend gluing. I used epoxy, but others would work well too. The screw holes in the plug need to be transcribed to the fan then drilled, then screwed in with M3 screws and anti-slip nuts.
