The swappable front panels on the Maingear MG1 add a unique touch of personalization to each of these prebuilt PCs, but they also restrict airflow. In normal situations, this rarely has an impact on performance. However, to get the most out of your hardware, more airflow is, generally speaking, better.
While it would be difficult to achieve full color printouts on a 3D printed part, you are still encouraged to customize this cover to your liking. Along with adding designs to the front, the model is provided without a grate pattern to allow customization of the look of the intake.
Print in PETG, 0.2mm layer height (no supports).
For the assembly, you will need an existing MG1 front panel. The Prusa-style assembly guide is provided as a downloadable PDF.
