"Assembly requires a spring from a ballpoint pen and a 3mm axle of some kind (I use a 3mm bolt without a head)."
"I personally cut the spring to about 18mm."
"When I put it together, I placed a small piece of paper between the cover and spring to pull it out at the end so it won't tip inside."
## version 2.1 base and cover 2.3update ##
I have created a stiffer version 2 with three thicker pieces, so it won't break or bend.
I also increased the size slightly so the CCS plug fits better."
Cover Let me know if you'd like further adjustments!
I have createde a stiffer version 2 witch 3 thicker pieces son i wont break bend. also increased size slightly. so CCS plug fits better
added new version 2.3 of cover to fit base version 2.1
Also added .mf file from my print can be used as a guideline. (this may not fit your printer, filament, etc., but it can help you get an idea of how to print)
Other parts should still fit.
My version fits behind a Zaptec charge box. mounting holes fits box holes so screws on charge box i used, so no need to drill your wall. I also added a small cut out for Power cable
My Level is made for a ballpen spring outer diameter 4,2mm inner 3 a little bigger and smaller will work i think cut spring as needed
Thanks to @SplinterPrinter for the orginal work :)
I printed it in Azurefil PTEG on my MK4 with almost standard profiles except for below settings
Layers and Perimeters
layer height 0.2
Perimeters 4
Support
Patton Honeycomb
Paint on supports like in Foto, was ok to remove and didn’t leave too much on base. I painted it with a small gap so it was easy to pry off support
The author remixed this model.
mount for Zaptecbox added and lever change for ballpen spring
