Sunvisor for Raymarine A70D chartplotter

Due to the low screen brightness of these models I designed a sunvisor for it. The visor can be fastened with screws on the back. This design will barely fit a 250 x 210 mm build plate, which is suitable for the MK4, likely the MK3 aswell.

It is advised to use at least 3-4 perimeters. Print with PETG or an ABS derivative. In either case, I'd recommend you use a light colour to minimise sun damage, warping etc.

The sunvisor is designed to allow the removal of the screen cover aswell as the SD card whilst intact.

I have included thumbscrews which should allow the screw to be press fit. I recommend finding something a bit chunkier and more robust, but if you'd like to use these thumbscrews I highly advise to thread in an extra nut or two to improve the contact area between the screw and the thumbscrew housing.
