Dewalt DWE 7492 Router Fence

After I built a router table for the DeWalt DWE 7492, the fence was still missing. Since it is suitable to use the stop of the saw, I had to come up with an idea how I can extend this. One requirement was that the fence must be removable, I just did not want to drill holes in the fence of the saw. For this reason, I designed hooks to hang the fence.

In principle, the fence consists of an aluminum square tube with an attached angle profile. Aluminum profiles are used as fence jaws.

Nachdem ich mir für die DeWalt DWE 7492 ein Frästisch gebaut habe, fehlte nun noch der Anschlag. Da es sich anbietet den Anschlag der Säge zu nutzen, musste eine Idee her wie ich diesen erweitern kann. Eine Voraussetzung war, dass der Anschlag abnehmbar sein muss, ich wollte einfach keine Löcher in den Anschlag der Säge bohren. Aus diesem Grund habe ich Haken entworfen um den Fräsanschalg einzuhängen.

Im Prinzip besteht der Anschlag aus einem Alu-Viekantrohr mit aufgesetztem Winkelprofil. Als Anschlagbacken werden Aluminumprofile verwendet.

Obviously I made a mistake when uploading the files. The hooks had no screw holes. Thanks to busti-h's advice, I have now corrected this. So everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to add their own holes to the hooks or print the version with the holes.

Offensichtlich ist mir beim Upload der Dateien ein Fehler unterlaufen. Die Haken hatten keine Schraubenlöcher. Dies habe ich nun dank dem Hinweis von busti-h ergänzt. So hat jeder die Möglichkeit selbst zu entscheiden ob er die Haken noch mit eigenen Löchern versieht oder die Version mit den Löchern druckt.

I have only printed the exhaust unit with support. I let the 40 mm pipe connection point upwards. All other parts can be printed without support. For easy printing, I printed the osVac adapter separately and glued it on, which is holding quite well so far.

Ich habe nur die Absaugeinheit (exhaust_unit) mit Support gedruckt. Dabei habe ich den 40 mm Rohranschluss nach oben zeigen lassen. Alle anderen Teile können ohne Support gedruckt werden. Um ein einfaches Drucken zu ermöglichen haben ich den osVac Adapter separat gedruckt und im Anschluss angeklebt, was bisher ganz gut hält.

Here you can see the two possibilities:

1. suction with HT-pipe connection or as in my case
2. suction with later glued osVac adapter

There are different end caps for each of these two options.

The central suction unit I have provided with threaded inserts / melted and then screwed tight, it is certainly also possible to glue the unit.

Für diese beiden Möglichkeiten gibt es jeweils andere Endkappen.

Die zentrale Absaugeinheit habe ich mit Gewindeeinsätze versehen/ eingeschmolzen und dann festgeschraubt, es ist sicher auch möglich die Einheit festzukleben.
