There are plenty of fenders out there for the Onewheel XR. Call them however you want – here is my version of a mini fender. Check out my Onewheel Collection – I have also designed a mini fender for the XR with WTF rails, a mini fender for the Pint and other Onewheel related stuff.

Spacers

In addition to the fender itself, you need to print some spacers. The height of the spacers depends on the height of your grip tape, footpad, fender delete and rail guards. Measure the space between the footpad and the rail (front and back) and scale/cut the spacers in your slicer or modify the STEP file in your CAD program. The spacers have a 1.6 mm high rabbet that must face down when you mount the fender (it just stops the spacers from rotating). Make sure you mirror the spacers before printing, since they are not symmetrical. The spacers that you find in the 3mf file are already mirrored.

Printing Info

I recommend printing with PETG or a material with an even better layer adhesion and impact resistance. Print the bottom part of the fender with 100% infill. Check out the 3mf file to see my modifiers and settings. You can mount this fender with the screws you might have from the original fender. Otherwise, you need to get 4 M5 x 20 mm countersunk screws.

Happy printing and onewheeling!
