Easy print, works well. Print with largest surface facing down.

A single twist of the D screw allows you to twist the print and open the battery door, no need to disassemble completely.

Other materials used:
- ¼" Camera screw with D ring.
+ other screws will work up to a max diameter of 17mm on the screw head.
      + 10mm thread length
- M8 ring with 16mm outside diameter, 1.4mm thick

Settings/print info on example:
- Printed on an Ender3v2.
- .4 mm nozzle. Smallest surface is 1mm wide, adjust accordingly.
- .2 mm layer height.
- PCTG (not a typo, awesome filament). Avoid PLA if you use the camera on sunny destinations.
- 3 walls, 3 top and bottom layers.
- 30% infill.
- hilbert curve surfaces.

Example in pictures is definitely a lot stronger than needed, unable to break by hand on the weakest part.

Thinking about designing a carry case for the camera and the complementary WC-E63 Wide angle converter and maybe some CF cards. Let me know if interested.
