An abstract snowflake that can be printed twice and glued together for a nice surface finish on both sides.
The surface is flat on one side and slightly slanted towards the edges on the other side which creates a starlike top surface pattern.
Also looks nice if printed with transparent material so that the infill pattern is visible, too. Using transparent material also creates a subtle colour change towards the thinner edges.
The model in the picture was printed with transparent PLA as two identical pieces that were glued together on their flat sides.
The original diameter of this model is about 150 mm. With around this size, the thinnest walls still use 2 perimeters so that no thin wall detection is required.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
