Introduction

The Pebblebee Clip is a tracking deceive with a low-profile. To this end, it doesn't come in a thick case. In order to protect the Clip in tougher conditions I designed this case. It works well on dog collars and key chains.

Printing

Must be printed in flexible plastic. I used 95A TPU, but softer plastic could work too. Use dry TPU filament to reduce stringing in the small gaps.

Prints without supports. Overhangs were minimized by design.

Use

(Update) I don't recommend clipping this to a dog collar using the carabineer that comes with the tracker. I've had a few of those carabineers break a few times now.

To install the device, slide it in through the open top. The logo and shield should be facing the same way; the device is slightly asymmetrical.

Run the carabiner through the holes in the case and device. This locks the case on and removes any chance of the case from slipping off.

To remove the device, remove the carabineer and pull it out. You might find the case difficult to remove if you used a stiff TPU. Tip for easy case removal: run the carabiner through the hole in the device while excluding the holes in the case, and then pull on the carabiner to free the device.
