Print settings for tray / caddy

• Print as oriented
• No supports needed
• Filament: PLA, or PLA+ — PETG may also be used 
• For 0.4 mm nozzle: 
  • Perimeter walls: 2
• For 0.6 mm nozzle: 
  • Perimeter walls: 1
• Infill: 10% (no more than 15%), “adaptive cubic” pattern recommended

Assembly for tray / caddy

• To squeeze the interlocking latches / sockets together, I used clamps such as these:

• No glue is needed

Laser settings for cutting box lid

• On my OMTech 100-watt CO2 laser, I used:
  • Number of passes: 1
  • Power: 82%
  • Speed: 7 mm/sec

Assembly for box

• I made sparing use of this “quick setting" wood glue:

Finishing for box

I first sealed the plywood's grain with one coat (by foam brush) of polyurethane (link below), then sanded it down lightly with a 150-grit sand paper, then stained it with one coat of wood stain (link below), wiped off the excess stain soon after, then laser engraved a name/message onto the top, then sprayed a final coat of “2x” clear polyurethane (link below).
