I designed pool fountain and needed a simple way to switch the pump outlet from the fountain to the builtin outlet of the pool.

Parts

PPR is standard for water pipes (at least in Europe) and you find parts in every hardware store. Usually, they're connected by welding (melting) but here we’ll use a 3D-printed piece to connect.

  • PPR T-piece 32mm - under 1 EUR
  • PPR ball valve 32mm - 4 EUR
  • PTFE thread sealing tape (optional)
  • O-rings (I designed model for TPU print but it can be ordered online as well)

Adjust pieces to your own needs. I needed only one valve since the pool outlet has one.
T piece could have been designed and printed, but the valve not so easily. Since I had to buy a valve, I decided to use T piece as well.

Printing

(for my case)

  • 1 x 32mm-to-32mm.stl to connect T-piece with valve. Once assembled, it’s not even visible. Check photos.
  • 3 x 32mm-to-1.5G-threaded.stl

Pieces are designed to be tight fit with 32mm PPR part (without thread inside) and forced in. Apply some CA glue before pressing in. It makes pieces strong and watertight.
Use O-rings. Additionally, if you see some small leaks, make a few rounds of a teflon tape on the thread.

No support is needed. Increase the number of walls to make sure it's holding pressure.

Now I can easily switch from outlet to fountain for under 5 EUR (not counting filament :))
