Collapsible Pen (12 faces)

UPTADE (25.07.2024): Added 12 faces for the "Threaded Cap" element. If you have a multi-color printer, you can try printing in several colors

UPTADE (20.07.2024):  Added the “Reduced Refill Holder” with a smaller hole for the pen refill (-0.02mm) for a better fit. I recommend printing both versions as printers may vary.

Printing parameters
- Nozzle size: 0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Infill: 100%
- Material: PLA
- Supports: Not required
- Walls: 3

Printing the Parts
The “Refill Holder” must be printed in two colors (white for the height of 0-30mm, and a second color from 30.2mm to the end). The other parts should be printed in a single color.

Required materials
You need a BIC pen (see the photo below).

Preparing the pen
You will need a BIC pen refill (IMPORTANT: the refill must be partially empty because the ink might leak). You need to cut it so that it is no longer than 5 cm. If you have any idea on how to avoid the need for the ink to be partially empty, let me know and I will try to add a modification.

Note: I did not have an empty refill, so cutting the refill got my hands a bit dirty.

Assembly of the pill pen
After printing all the parts, simply fit them together. Then, insert the cut pen refill.
