Print instructions:
- Materials, PLA and TPU:
- Print the TPU folder in a flexibel material, in order to use it as a seal and keep moisture out of the drybox.
- The pla map can be printed in any rigid material, tho I suggest PLA as it is easy to print and low moisture absorbtion.
- Supports (as shown in pictures):
- I suggest adding some support to the top of the hygrometer hole for a cleaner finish, but it can be printed without.
- The raster and spool holder will print well with supports only on the 90 degree overhangs.
- Inserts:
- I suggest using m3 inserts for the screw holes, for a snug and aesthetic total, tho a bolt and nut would work just fine.
- If you want to use the filament box whilst prining you can simply add a ptfe coupler and you can turn it into a reversed bowden setup. If not you can print the heat insert bottom and plug to shut the hole from the inside.
- Seal:
- The hygrometer seal wil fit perfectly as is, given the hygrometer clips it in place providing enough pressure.
- I suggest printing the box seal at 95% so it stretches in place and stays in it spot. Otherwise you might need to use a little glue.
