I designed this rooster as a kids toy for my nephew. If your nephew isn't called "Joël" let me know and I can adapt the file.
The parts are glued together. Usually any superglue works fine. For smooth operations some sanding may be needed.
When correctly assembled, the motion of the wheel is transmitted to the head, wings and tail feathers and shakes them.
The video, assembly file and picture will help you to understand how to assemble the rooster.
You will need to print:
4x Abstandhalter (spacers, slides in the rectangles in the main body part)
1x Achse_Federn (shaft for wings)
2x Achse_Mech (cam shaft, one for the head and one for the tail feathers)
2x Achse_Rad (shaft for wheels)
Xx FederX (different feathers, as many as you want)
1x Flügel (wings)
4x Kegelrad (gear with wider slot)
4x Kegelrad_klein (gear with smaller slot)
xX Knockenwelle (cam, as many as you need)
1x Kopf (head)
4x Rad (wheel)
1x Seite (main body part)
1x Welle1 (vertical shaft, near the head)
1x Welle2 (vertical shaft, near the tail)
Feather 1 and 3 have rectangle slots and can be used on the left and right side so that the wings move aswell, feather 2, 4 and 5 have circular slots and can be used in the center of the shaft for wings
