This is a handy little lever that allows you mount/unmount a curtain track by turning it 90 degrees to lock in place. Makes it easy to mount a large track by yourself.
Unfortunately one of mine was broken. The local fabric shop didn't have it, And searching online I was able to find replacements, but postage was $8.50. As I am impatient and a tight arse I designed a replacement.
Print it oriented up with supports. This ensures the best strength. Make sure you have adequate cooling for the short layers/slow down your print. My first print was a blob at the top layers, I ended up creating a simpler version which is what I installed. Only to realise it was my slicer settings ruining the print. I also forgot to define the length.
The version uploaded is what you see in the first photo (side by side with the broken original piece).
I printed in transparent ABS, I believe PLA will warp under a constant load, as well as from high temperatures which you might get near a window.
Designed in OnShape if you would like to make some changes
