I think it turned out pretty good. I need to figure out the lighting. Getting some great ideas from the other makes. I did scale it up by 50%. Might have caused an issue with the locking pegs. They printed longer or the holes printed shallower. Had to trim them down. Haven't mounted them permanent yet. Making it as a gift for my neighbor. (edited)
Had planned to make one for some time but this season i got it done. Made a heavily modified version with a LiIon Cell from a disposavle vape, a USB-C Charging module and a magnetic reed switch to turn it on and off. Some red SMD LEDs for the trench and a green one for laser of death. ;)
Printed two of these and gave them as presents. Family loved them! Forgot to take pictures
It’s awesome. I’ll probably add a small power switch, and more space to make it compatible with AA batteries.
I printed the trench in clear pla, added green led for the dish, and a color shifting led for the trench.
Also used https://www.printables.com/model/763855-cr2032-coin-cell-battery-holder 2 batter holder to power it. Another great model.
Didn’t have grey/metallic looking filament so i took the chance to practice painting skills and it turned out pretty good. Didn’t have a green LED too so popped in a blue one that i had. Overall a very nice model!
