The jar consists of 3 basic parts, the decorated outer shell, an inner container and a decorated lid.
There are holes in the outer shell for the lights.
For the lights I used a light cord with 10 lights that work on 2 AA batteries.
The battery holder has a compartment with clamp on the inside so that it can be mounted safely and firmly without screwing or gluing.
The switch must be extended with the switch grantor so that it can be operated from the outside.
I bought the light cord at https://linterieur.nl/led-10-lichtjes/ but it is of course for sale everywhere.
I printed the 'switch grantor' with PLA 0.20mm layer height ( 0.15 Quality) 100% infill and glued it to the switch with superglue.
I printed all other parts of the jar and ornements with PLA and PETG
Jar: 0.20mm layer height ( 0.15 Quality) 15% infill
Cookie cutters: 0.25mm layer height ( 0.25 Draft) 15% infill
Inner container and lid ornement need support while printing
0.4mm nozzle
Because cookies are food, I would like to point out that you should read the pages of Prusa3d about food safe printing.
https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/food-safe-fdm-printing_112313 and
https://blog.prusaprinters.org/how-to-make-food-grade-3d-printed-models_40666/
When in doubt, the cookies could of course also be stored in a zip lock bag in the jar or coated the inner container with epoxy.
After I printed all parts for the jar, I glued the lights on with a glue gun.
The ornaments for the decoration on the outside are based on Christmas cookies and I painted the details with 'Revill enamel' and then glued them to the outside with superglue.
In the lid is a recess with screw thread for the lid ornement that can be screwed on.
For the gingerbread/shortbread cookies I made cookie cutters whose outer edge is exactly the same shape as the ornaments of the decoration.
For making the gingerbread/shortbread and other information I have found a nice Dutch site with recipes that is worth checking out.

A recipe for wasp nests – (vosí hnízda) – or beehives – (včelí úly) can be found at: http://cookiecompanion.com/bijenkorfkoekjes-uit-tsjechie/ Choice of Dutch or English.
These are cookies that do not need to be baked.
I haven't made them myself yet, but they must be very tasty, but bad for my body shape, but hey, who’s counting calories at Christmas time 😉
Enjoy these cookies and Merry Christmas.
