This has been my go-to chamber exhaust fan duct since I first got the K1C, and one of my first ever prints in ASA. Printed with the supports as suggested and it came out nearly perfect, despite my not knowing about ASA shrinkage. This was just step 1 of my plan to always print with the door closed.
I originally had it facing up, and it was only recently that I flipped it vertically. I wanted to take advantage of the vented frame extention I printed, and potentially create a positive airflow pulling in cool air from top to bottom (despite how weak this exhuast fan is). I'm not sure if it actually works, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything. One of my other goals in inverting the duct was to prevent too much cooling only at the top of the print (since that's where the side fan and extruder fans are all pointed), but rather to have the air more evenly distributed throughout the chamber. On most prints the air is pulled from beneath the bed surface.
This paired with the magnetic external exhaust tubing I created helps minimize all the toxic fumes from the room and out of my lungs. For the most part I can now make prints fully sealed as well.
