These models go on top of your AMS funnels to protect them from wear and to improve their usability (bigger buttons).

I recently (july 2024) acquired an AMS for my P1S but sadly the feeder models that I printed didn't fit. After some research I saw that there were, allegedly, different AMS models and that Bambu Lab might have changed some dimensions as well so I decided to create a compatible model myself.

You can choose from two main model categories here:

  1. Regular: No hardware needed but might wear over time
  2. With PC4-M10 connectors (+PTFE tube): more accurate and should resist more to wear, recommended

For each category there are 2 button designs (depends on your preference):

  • Large Head : larger area to press
  • Curved head: gives more grip

PC4-M10 connectors are the same used in the AMS Y-splitter that you might want to print as well, I recommend buying a pack of 10 (3 for the Y and 4 for this model + 3 spare) to be set.

The fusion files are provided would you need/want to tweak things.

Printing Information:

  • Print in PETG for the slight flexibility it allows
  • Print the “Large Head” designs on their head with tree supports for overhangs
  • Print the “Curved Head” designs on their back with tree supports for overhangs

Installation:

Press the front of the model into the funnel button then tilt the model onto the funnel till the lip of the model clicks underneath the funnel.

(To remove the model: press the button and try to lift the model from underneath the funnel)

For the PC4-M10 models:

  • You should use about 10cm of PTFE tube in conjunction with these connectors.
  • To be able to close the AMS lid you should orient the connector in such a way that a flat edge is parallel to the length of the AMS.
  • The curved design has a tighter thread than the large head one due to the print orientation, I recommend using a M10 spanner to easily screw the connector in (also valid for the large head one)
