V4 has been a community request since I technically made false claims, with the V3 being a 1U cooler. Technically, it was not right.
But now V4 exists in either Version A or B. With two or three ducts, you are able to cool tight 1U slots where you normally would use very small and loud fan coolers.
The whole construct is not very stable, so treat it with some love and be careful while building.
Material List (Version A):
(Good to know: The fan ducts can either be mounted with 3 or 5 screws. 3 screws are enough, but you could use 5 screws and 5 threads.
- 10x M4x4.0 Threaded Inserts (CNC Kitchen)
- 10x M4x12 Screws
- 2x Fans (Max. Dimensions: 120x120x15mm)
Compatible Models:
- Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM
- Arctic Cooler P12 Slim PWM PST
- And every model in those dimensions listed above
Optional:

- DC Power Jack: (https://de.aliexpress.com/item/4000585704812.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.424.6c355c5f15b1pc&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu)
Building Instructions (Version A):
- Thread all the M4 inserts; only use the middle and the outer two holes at the fan ducts. The Middle Bridge needs all four of them.
- Mount the fans to the fan ducts (squeeze the fan screws into the tight space, thread the fan hole, and repeat that for every corner). Two screws per fan would be enough; I threaded all holes.
- Think about cable management. Either you use the middle section with the switch and PSU input or the middle solid section. I threaded my cables through the fan duct into the inner side of the rack cooler, wired everything at the back, and held it back with zipties.
- Be careful of the polarity of the fans. You'll see a thin line on one side of the cable indicating GND. The next pin, right beside it, should be positive.
- After mounting the fans and finishing the thought process on how you want to connect everything, start putting each section together.
- Mount the cooler, and you're done.
Version B consists of similar steps but has three instead of only two fan ducts. Generally speaking, I think that two are enough. But if you install the Noctua NF-A12x15 and triple it, you've got quite the airflow in that tiny space.
Material List (Version B):
- 15x M4x4.0 Threaded Inserts (CNC Kitchen) Can also work with only 11 pieces.
- 15x M4x12 screws Can also work with only 11 pieces.
- 3x Fans (Max Dimensions: 120x120x15mm)
That's technically it. If you have questions or suggestions that we could iterate on on this model, hit me up.
