PDF

Tool designed to hold emory cloth to pinch and clean both sides of a motorcycle disc rotor to remove contaminants from the rotor surface when changing to new pads.  Also used to clean the rotor faces occasionally to prevent glazing. Makes a signifiacnt difference to brake stopping power and prevents new pads like sintered metal from being contaminated by residue from old organic pads. Use 100-120 grit emory cloth from a 30mm plumbers role and wrap the tape overlapping itself by 20mm and hold in place with hot glue. Ideal for 5mm thick rotors. After sanding, clean rotor with brake cleaner.

Print with 4 walls, PLA or PETG.
