Dual 5015 fan duct for sv04 printer with volcano hotend. Really increases the cooling performance with out sacrificing on the idex extruder clearance/ copy & mirror print area.
Should clear the volcano heat block, but you might want to have the block angled a bit.
I used 30mm or longer M4 screws and nuts for the fans and shorter (about 15mm maybe) M3 screws to mount the adapter plate to the printer. You could use m3s all around i just didnt have any long enough.
You have to also extend the printer z probe and redo the dual extruder adjustments. To extend the probe just take the 4 screws off of the left extruder carriage mount and add longer screws and spacers to lower the z probe. Make sure it doesnt go below the nozzle when retracted.
Some adjustment can be made after the fact by undoing the grub screw that holds the heat break and hot end and moving the whole hot end down a bit. I used this to help with the z adjustment for the right print head since i was bottoming out on the adjustment. This method probably wont be good for flexible filaments im guessing.
I used organic supports for the overhang where the fans nozzles attach to.
Print in heat resistance filament.
The author remixed this model.
Took the idea and the nozzle designed, but had to remake the adapter plate and moved the fans and ducting around. Now it can fit 4 fans with no loss of dual extruder print space.
