Greenworks 24V 500W Brusless Vacuum STAND

Summary: The Greenworks offering is $100, and can be built for much less, using a couple of home store (Home Depot, Lowes) building materials, and some 3-D printed parts. ASIN is the Amazon stock number.

Project details:
The GW Vacuum is great, but the stand is not only expensive at $100, but there are four accessories, and due to poor engineering, you can only store two accessories on the stand. There is a two accessory holder that clips onto the floor extension tube, but I don't like keeping them on there while vacuuming, if they fall off, they're cheap plastic and could be damaged. I added a two accessory holder that bolts onto the back of the carriage assembly.

3-D parts:
1) adapter-to-stand,vacuum-gw24_v201 = this goes between the GW carriage, and the 2-inch pipe
2) adapter-holder,vacuum-gw24_v101 = holds an accessory, can be used alone; or two bolted together (how I'm using it)
3) spacer_OD=0,625_ID=0,25_v101 = spacer for the flange, to center the screws holding it to the wood base (not absolutely necessary).

Printing details:
The two accessory holder is printed in two halves (without support) and bolted (or glued) together; I chose this route to avoid a ton of support material.

Wood base details:
Used pocket hole joints to assemble. Found that it wasn't 100% flat, and rocked / wobbled a little, so added 4 rubber cup feet, and it's rock solid.

Future details:
If you want to run the power cord inside the tube, drill two additional holes (top and bottom), didn't get around to that final step. And I might just use cable tie wraps in 3 places.
