This gear was made to replace the original bakelite gear made by Bernina in the early 1960s. The new gear can be printed in PLA or other hard wearing plastic.
Simply break the old gear off while the new gear is printing. When the new gear is done, heat the shaft and press the new gear on. This will ensure a firm grip.
