Lens Cap (Print-in-Place)

A lens cap with a compliant spring for the tabs. I designed this for my Nikon lenses, but it should work for others as well. I have provided models for both 52mm and 58mm lenses.

You can try XY scaling for other sizes or request other sizes from me! (I will adjust the model to keep the same tolerances.)

• This prints well in PLA and better in PETG (the spring is nicer)
• Your bed adhesion and bridges must be good.
• You might need a little gentle force to get the tabs moving at first.
• For added fun, add a modifier to emboss your name (or whatever) on the front. 😁
