"The Expanse" MCRN Gun

The MCRN gun, featured prominently throughout The Expanse, first appeared on the MCRN Donnager. In the episode "Remember the Cant" (S1E03), guards wielded these weapons to detain Holden, Amos, Naomi, and Shed. Additionally, in the season 2 Martian Marines aboard the MCRN Scirocco are seen loading their pistols on a table. These pistols continued to be used in various episodes throughout the series.

If you're wondering why there's no barrel, I'm asking myself the same question, but I based my model on reference photos of the real gun used on The Expanse set, so don't worry, it's not an oversight on my part.

Please respect the orientation of the objects (see picture of the plate and/or the 3MF file containing the plate. And don't forget to “place on face” all STL because they are not always straight by default. Only “Fire selector” and the trigger outline need support.

• As for the paintwork, the GRIP is mat plastic, the rest is metal painted mat black with lots of scratches, top tube in silver metalic paint with very little light brown rust on it.
• Less than 250 grams of filament is needed for all parts.
• The assembly is more than intuitive so I do not offer you an assembly video for this model.
• I recommend a layer height of 0.15mm or less, no more for a clean result. (0.10/0.12mm for the big parts and 0.08mm for the small parts.)
• There is a full version and a hollow version of the grip and slide, it allows for those who wish to be able to add a little bit of weight with for example nuts, metal BB + concrete or anything else....
