This remix of the Hubelino Elevator offers users several options for upgrading and customizing the original model:
- Rotary Knob: A newly designed rotary knob has been created to replace the motor in the original model. This allows for manual operation of the elevator, providing a more hands-on experience and eliminating the need for a motor. The knob has a little loose fit to the elevator wheel (it stays on there, but wiggles a litte). I wedged the tip of a wooden toothpick in the fitting to fixate it.
- Adapter Part: An adapter part has been designed to serve as a support for the rotary knob. There are two options for incorporating this adapter:
- Upgrade Original Base: The adapter part can be used to upgrade the original base of the Hubelino Elevator. This option allows users to keep most of the original model intact while adding the new manual rotation feature. Make sure to test it out before glueing everything together.
- Remixed Base Station: Alternatively, a remixed version of the base station is available where the adapter part is already integrated. This provides a more streamlined solution for those who prefer a ready-to-use base with the new features.
3. Elevator Wheel: The actual elevator wheel remains unchanged from the original model.
