This model was my first large project attempt using Blender. Fusion360 was much easier to figure out for engineering projects, but artistic approaches really need a different interface. Every vertex was placed by me, which is a terrible approach but sure taught me a whole lot. I highly recommend first making low-poly models if you want to use Blender and become familiar with its interface.
I used reference photos of an eagle to get the scale and general shape correct, but I've optimized this model for 3D printing with a flat bottom plane and a thought for the angles before bridging is required.
Please leave feedback on the print quality and if any features are a struggle to manufacture. I want this model to be the greatest it can be!
