Prusa XL Series: SICCO BOX - The PRUSA XL drybox

Before everything, thanks for everyone purchasing the Files! I never espected to be such a success, and to get to the main page of Printables!

Exactly one year now i'm proud owner of the XL. Most of you know me for my free PRUSA XL improvement Series: https://www.printables.com/@Surfalex2000/collections/830114
Over the last 12 months ive been trying to add little helpers to improve the Quality of your prints, or help with different problems.

But one problem that i have noticed over the long Time of owning this fantastic printer is, that it is highly sensible for low  quantity of moisture. Even over  2 das prints ive noticed quality changes and even failures due to moisture in the before dried Filament. 
I was tired of this Problems, and for the last 6 Weeks ive designed and printed several prototypes and different designs to solve this Problem. And with my friend and ALPHA tester
 3D-Printiverse  , i think i can proudly present you my, what i think is the best solution for the Prusa XL

Easy assembly: Soldering iron for heat inserts, and Basic screw driver needed. Threads must be made in Aluminium extrusion, if you dont order them included.

 Its very difficult to give an estimated price for alle the parts, that reflect each region. But if you order on ALIEXPRESS cost breakdown looks like this:

In the Filament calculation there are expensive Filaments included, because of the heat resistance. If you plan to use it without Sunlu Mod, you can push the material price down to 50€.

But for the Sunlu Mod you will need the Display to be repositioned, which we currently dont support with files. 

What will you get: 

1: All Files for the Printed parts, additionaly the SUNLU Heater Mod.
2 A list with affiliate links from 3d-Printiverse for the needed parts from Shops in Germany and the US. Of course all parts can be ordered very cheap on ALIEXPRESS.
3. Pre sorted and positioned 3fm files for the XL. Material must of course be selected to your gusto.
4. Images for Positioning and size of Aluminium Extrusion and Threaded inserts.

-----------------------------------------IMPORTAND NOTE---------------------------------------------

Sunlu Mod must be modified from a supervised electrician.

To max Temps, insulation on the inside top and sides must be made. Foam Templates are provided. 20 mm(max) self adheesing Foam should be mounted. The position of the Temp Sensor is crucial. Use the Foam template to position the Sensor. For best seal you can also add 5mm x 1mm Foam around the sidepanels and the Aluminium Extrusions.

Filament Sensors are still compatible (altough you must reposition them), but Filament must be unloaded at the top. We noticed that its far better to deactivate the side sensors and connect the PTFE Tubes directly to the tools with the Zero resistance couplers.

“Mat/frosted” or rough Filaments (like carbon fiber)could have to much friction and may be incompatible for the 2m PTFE tube and so for the SICCO. 

Please consider that the SICCO Box ist still considered BETA. Printed parts are considered Final, but small changes in number of Screws and heated inserts could be possible
 As soon as the product ist considered Final, price will increase. My Club members will get Special individual Support, and if problems or incompatibility is found, if possible,adapted.
