When the Ultima was re-released, I had to have one. My first competition buggy was a Turbo Ultima, and I bought it right after Jay Halsey won the championship with it.
And then I waited for a Turbo Ultima re-release. And that hasn't come yet, so I'm turning my Ultima into a Turbo Ultima. I bought a body from MCI Racing and went from there.
I still had a single rim from the original Turbo Ultima, and I used it to model these.
These should print pretty well at .15 layer height. .20 will probably work, though, it'll just mean more sanding.
You should only need supports on the bed - they are designed with easy to remove supports for the tire ribs to save on print time.
After they print, just sand and paint. I chucked these into a drill on an arbor for sanding, and got a “good enough” finish.
