Mulit purpose "Clip Closure" with rotatable opener

A nice small project with some moving parts and a nice model to show what is possible with your 3D printer.

You dont need to press this clip closure to open it, only turn the knob 45 degrees to the right (this releases the inner part) and back to the orignial position (saftey option). Now you are able to remove the strap attachement.

The clip closure consists of 5 parts. The base (with one strap attachement), one knob, the internal adator, the cover plate and the removable second strap attachement. You also need 3 screws tho conect the cover plate with the base and one (maybe with a washer) to fix the knob from the back. The backscrew connects  the internal adaptor with the knob.

The fastening threads are 3 mm width. I use metal screws but you can also printet ones.

I have made the decition for screws because I like the possibility to open the clip and show how the mechanik is working. But it is easy to redesign it without screws on the top (only one on the back is easy way).
 

If desired I will develop an improved version later on with a better (hidden) position for the screws.
