Here is another nose for the T2. This one is for the HEQ G-Port gimbal. This is the Walksnail version. I did include STEP and Fusion360 files if someone wants to change it for the DJI version.
I went back and forth on an underslung mount or top mount. I ultimately chose to have it sit on top due to landings. I was afraid of damaging the gimbal if I mounted it underneath.
One thing to note is youlll need longer antennas than the stock ones. 120mm should be long enough to mount the VTX sideways from what is pictured. That way you can access both the SD card and USB port.
Materials you'll need
5-m3X4.6X5 heat inserts
5-m3X8 screws. 2 for the side clips and 3 to hold the 2 halves together.
4-m2X8 screws for the VTX
Thats it other than the filament.
I used a PP-CF filament. Ive had really good results with it. Layer adhesion is great. The stuff is super durable and it's light. But if you go with something different any higher temp rated filament should work fine. ASA or ABS.
This is the filament I've been using.
Check out the pictures you can see where the heat inserts go.
you will need to drill a hole in the plywood. I moved the hole up to be centered in the side clips.
