I have a Tronxy X5SA that I bought at the beginning of 2021 and I have found that not all x5sa's are alike as far as components fitment goes. I purchased a Orbiter 1.5 extruder to use for direct drive and printed the appropriate mount. I had the mount printed by a friend (as my extruder motor crapped out) and fit it to my printer as you can see that the bracket could only be secured by one bolt, allowing the extruder to move upon retracts and messing up the print. This is not the fault of the designer but by the difference in the machines, if I slid the bracket down to use the other 2 bolts the first one would not align and the extruder motor would hit the bracket for the cable chain. I found that the cable chain bracket was longer than others causing this issue. I made a 13mm spacer to lift the extruder up a little to clear the cable chain. I have found a few other differences/improvements between my machine and others. I did not include the legnth of the bolts that I used to secure the extruder cause my machine is not stock. The bracket that I used is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4898454 I did have to modify the bracket using a soldring iron to prevent me from using a extremely long bolt on the left side.
