This project includes all files to reproduce the space-filling model of different cycloalkanes at a scale of 1:1000000 (1mm/nm). The models were created and optimized in Avogadro 1.2 and transformed into individual stl files with CCDC Mercury.

To enhance the print outcome and save time and filament, the models are cut in half and purge to infill is activated as previously reported (https://www.printables.com/de/model/931878-multicolor-space-filling-molecular-model-of-caffei)

The space-filling structures are useful to visualize Pitzer-strain interactions and to get an idea of the actual steric demand of unsubstituted cycloalkanes.
