Tapping arms keep taps level and supported. I designed this model specifically for using small taps, as small as m1, that will almost certainly break if used by hand.

My smallest test with this tool was a m1 tap, which requires a .85mm hole. For me thats the smallest thing ive ever tapped and I cant imagine myself going smaller any time soon.
