Low Profile Drip Tray - Gaggia Classic Pro

An ultra low profile drip tray for Gaggia Classic Pro machines. This drip tray allows a full size mug or glass to be placed under the portafilter for those that prefer to pull shots directly into their cup for lattes or long blacks/americanos. The original file this was remixed from indicates that it will also fit the newer Gaggia Classic Evo machines, however I have an older Pro so I can't verify. Full credit of the original design to user @b_1622878, however I found myself wanting more length to more easily accommodate a set of scales so I extended the shelf. It fits my Timemore Black Mirror scale perfectly. I also removed the slogan inside the tray (sorry!). I love the message but found having text inside the drip area increased the risk of gaps between the infill and walls, so I've just blanked out the tray to make it one singular layer.

Printed on a Sovol SV06. I printed in PETG for higher heat resistance and used 3 perimeters for strength, although I'm sure it would be fine with 2. I would also recommend at least 15% infill (I used Gyroid) as the top layers have to make a pretty large bridge and it's much easier with denser infill.

The design reuses the stock metal drip tray cover, just pop it in and you're good to go. The extended shelf will hang over the front edge of the machine and could flip up if you put too much weight at the front, however I've found that I've had no issues with it just from the weight of the scales and a mug holding it down. You could consider finding or printing something to prop it up from underneath, but I've not worried about that.
