Here's my workholding solution for my CNC machine, which is based on 1" spacing of 1/4-20 tapped holes in the wasteboard (fairly standard here in America.) The cam mount can be rotated to allow the cam lever to clamp tightly onto most pieces. I use nylon 1/4-20 button-head screws for mounting (to prevent tool breakage.)

This works pretty well! This system is cheap, flexible, quick to make & replace, and clamps+unclamps quickly for production.

You can also use multiple of these clamps for additional stability if you are dealing with larger side-loads. I recommend printing these pieces with some high % of infill and many outer walls.
