Creality Ender 5 S1 Door Hinges Geared for 270-degree swing.
The STL files are set for best printing with minimal supports.
- no supports are needed between the gear threads.
- supports are needed at the gap between the two gear sections.
- supports are needed at the gap for the T-nut locations, In the next version, I will revise so none are needed.
- top door mount should have no issues bridging the pin stop; the bridge part will not be ever seen.
Hardware needed:
- 4x M3 20mm screws
- 4x M3 14 to 16mm screws
- 4x M3 T-nuts for 2020 rail extrusions
- 4x 5mm by 60mm pins. I got mine from Amazon; using M5 screws can chew up the internal pinhole and cause failure of the hinge.
Assembly: see photos.
Start with the 2020 mount, then the door mount, then assemble the hinge.
Mount the hinge loosely to the door, then aline on the 2020 rail and screw down with these mounts square with the top & bottom.
Align the gaps around the door and tighten them; try swinging the door. If it doesn't move smoothly, then loosen the screws, swing the door until it does, then tighten, and enjoy the door not getting in your way.

The author remixed this model.
Differences of the remix compared to the original
- I remixed for non-print in-place and printed two; one worked, and one broke while trying to free the movement. I decided just to remix for 5mm x 60mm pins.
- Remixed for use on Creality Ender 5 S1 encloser door (90 deg without this mod).
