This model was developed with the purpose of creating a modular system that can be used to mount things on the truck bed rails of a 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma.
Developed in association with LineArcLine, the system features a T-clip system that uses M4 screws and nuts to fasten tightly onto the rail.
This model is designed to work with standard M4 nuts and bolts, specifically a m4x25mm bolt. To use the model effectively, insert an M4 nut into each of the slots. Then, orient the T-clip so that the nuts will be pulling towards each other when tightened, as shown in this picture:
Then, insert the 25mm m4 bolt into the outside facing piece, screwing it almost all the way through. Screw the flat side of the inside piece into the bolt just until it gets halfway through the bolt.
Then, its a matter of fitting the t-nut in sideways, twisting it clockwise so it is vertical, and tightening the bolt. This can be achieved by either spinning the outside piece until it is tight or just tightening the bolt directly. This part can be tricky.
After that, you are done!
It is highly recommended to print this part out of a high temperature / UV resistant material. ASA is recommended.
